Home Helpers of LKN & Central NC in Action!

 We are pleased to announce that our office will be working to help organize as well as participate in the Alzheim er's Association's "Walk To End Alzheimer's" for 2012.  There are several Walks that will be taking place in the fall, and we encourage you to get involved.  Feel free to call us for information on how to sign up, form a team, or simply assist in raising awareness!  You can find more information on this great event by visiting www.alz.org.

  Home Helpers & Direct Link is pleased to announce that we are now sponsors of Misty Meadows Mitey Riders equine therapy farm.  Misty Meadows helps hundreds of special needs children every year, providing therapeutic horseback riding at no charge to the families.  In an effort to assist with the expenses of their operation, we are donating proceeds from sales of our Direct Link products whenever a customer mentions Mitey Riders!  Think about it, you can provide peace of mind for a friend or loved one, and help a very worthwhile charity all at once.  Learn more about the Mitey Riders program at their website by clicking here, and see our Direct Link products here.

Upcoming Events

  Race City Festival. May 19th, 2012!  This event is a celebration of the Lake Norman area Arts & Culture, and is held on Main & Broad Streets of downtown Mooresville, NC.  The street fair will host live music, local business, arts, crafts, food and more.  Be sure to drop by our booth, and remember to register for our Lake Norman Cruise drawing while there as the annual drawing is fast approaching!  We look forward to seeing you there!!

  We recently completed our multiple seminars on Aging Is Not For Wimps.  This lighthearted presentation provides useful information about life resources that every person over the age of 20 should be aware of!  Call us if you'd like more information on this series, or would like to schedule a presentation with your organization.  It's free and informative!

Marketing Excellence Award

  In September of 2011, Home Helpers of Lake Norman and Central North Carolina received the Marketing Excellence Award from Home Helpers corporate office in Cinncinati, Ohio.  Our office was selected from all agencies in the US and Canada, and the award was presented in New Orleans, LA.  We are very flattered that we were selected for this very impressive honor!
